Kamakura Guide Association (KGA) is a non-profit organization of volunteer tour guides based in Kamakura. Established in 1991, we are one of the oldest and most active tour guide associations in Kamakura. We offer planned guided tour programs to explore the history, culture, and nature as well as customized tour programs based on your special needs and requests. Our well-trained English-speaking members are pleased to show you the charms of this renowned historical city and of Japan, with “Omotenashi’, the Japanese way of hospitality.

Please fill in the application form below and click the send button. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of your application. After reviewing your application, we send you a proposal based on your request in order to meet your expectations.

Guide Fee:	JP\5,000 for groups of up to five people. Groups of six or more, an additional fee of JP\1,000 per person will be charged.
Guiding Hours:	Tours run up to five hours maximum, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tours outside of these hours are negotiable upon request.
Other Expenses:	Transportation, restaurants, admission fees of temples and shrines, etc., are at your expense. Fees for our guide, if they are incurred* during the tour, are to be paid by you in addition to the guide fee. *: KGA members are exempt from paying admission fees of most temple/shrines in Kamakura during guiding hours.
Payment:	Please pay our guide in cash after the tour ends each day. Only cash is accepted.
Responsibility:	KGA and our guide shall not be responsible for any claim/cost that may occur from, including but not limited to, injuries, illness, theft,loss, and damage to you or your belongings during the guided tour.
Notes:	● We do not book hotels, restaurants, chartered taxis, etc. ● Your personal information is used only for the purpose of your guided tour and will not be shared to any outside sources.
